Why Tournament Competition:

The Building of a Winning Attitude

It is suggested that all students participate in at least on tournament per year. Tournament competition helps stimulate and build the students' self-confidence. Tournaments help students to face their fears. Everyone has fears. Most people would rather run from things that make them feel uneasy or nervous, rather than confront them.

Fear holds people back!

One of my jobs as an instructor is to teach students how to take charge of their lives. Many people are controlled by their emotions and fears. Students must learn to face fear and control it. In return, they will gain the confidence needed to make themselves stronger. Tournament competition is a way to face fear in a controlled environment. Fear is built and fueled by our own thoughts and lack of confidence. CONTROL AND CONFIDENCE ARE THE KEYS TO SUCCESS AND TO A WINNING ATTITUDE!
